Collection and Delivery

*Items available from store stock can be collected within 2 hours of the order being placed. Please note that sale items prices may change from time to time Click and Collect payments can be taken in store or over the phone,

any items such as a large freestanding appliance, fridge or fridge freezer, cooker, dishwasher, tv, washing machine, can be delivered the same day or next working day.. all the items we sell come with warranty. please make sure we get your post-code and telephone number to confirm your delivery address.

 It is your responsibility to make sure there is a safe access passage for the appliance to be delivered.

We listen and continually invest to ensure that you receive the highest level of service and that your shopping experience by us is a pleasurable one. it is our job to make sure you are happy and that you re-buy more of our products that's why we have been in business for over the last 25 years... 


It’s bad enough that your product develops a fault, so we try to make our returns or repair service as painless as possible.

If the fault occurs within 30 days of delivery we will always offer you either a repair, exchange or refund. If the fault with your product occurs within its guarantee period (normally 6 months from day after delivery check listing for details) we will offer you a prompt repair service.

In the case of a fault occurring under warranty we the seller only cover return postage costs for the first 3 months of the warranty period.

In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault before deciding the best course of action to take.

We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Items must not under any circumstances be attempted to be repaired by a third party that we have not authorised, any signs of tampering or attempts of repair by an unauthorised third party will void all warranties and guarantees.

All products that have a LCD or LED LCD screen are sold under the ISO-9241-302, 303, 305, 307:2008 standards regarding defective pixels

Delivery Damages

Please thoroughly inspect goods upon receipt (visually & powered on) and report any delivery damage or missing parts/accessories within 4 days of receiving the item, with the exception of TVs with a screen size of 39″ or above which we require the reporting of damage or missing parts within 48hrs of receipt

We will not be held responsible for any damage or missing parts parts/accessories reported, meaning after the 4 days from the day of receipt or 48hrs if the item is a TV of 39″ or above unless otherwise agreed on in writing via email before purchase

Returns & Refunds

If the item you received is as arrived damaged, faulty or developed a problem whilst under guarantee please follow the steps below.

Contact us via phone (01623 555667) or by email ( informing us about your issue or return request.

A report will be taken on the reason for return (photos of the item may be requested at our discretion).

We will talk you through the method for return/replacement with your specific item and circumstances.

Change Of Mind

If you would like to return an item for because you changed your mind and it is within 30 days since taking delivery please use the eBay returns system selecting “I changed my mind” as the reason for return and you will be provided with full instructions for return

After your return is approved, please return the item unopened, unused, in the same condition it was received, and with it’s original packaging using your preferred postage method.

Attach a note securely to the box (outside and inside) stating your name, eBay user id, record number and reason for return.

Once the return arrives we will process it and refund your purchase promptly usually within 3 working days

Please note that all return postage costs for change of mind are the buyer’s responsibility.


It is recommended you retain all packaging for the full duration of the warranty period, as In all cases and in accordance with ebay terms and conditions and UK law it is you the buyer who is responsible for making sure the item to be returned is adequately packaged to avoid any damage on its return journey.

Starbuys reserve the right to refuse replacement or refund if the item is damaged due to inadequate care and packaging by the you or a third party on your behalf or if the item shows signs of tampering or sabotage
